They Hate Change Share New Song, “1000 Horses (ft. SARGE)”

They Hate Change, the Tampa Bay production/rap/DIY duo who recently signed to Jagjaguwar, are back with their last release of the year in a new song, “1000 Horses”. Anchored by innovative production stylings referencing footwork, drum-n-bass, jungle, and avant-garde through the lens of Tampa Bay originated Jook music – the group brings fellow Tampanian SARGE into the mix noting of the track “An “Anti-Choker Chain” PSA from the Bedroom Rap All-Stars. Featuring an Alien Transmission from the best MC with no album since D Double E.”

The video itself, directed by Xandra Robyn who directed their previous video, references older rock videos a la Sonic Youth’s “Bull In The Heather”, taking in-studio performances interspersed with other artful footage.
