Record Store DayS. Carey And Low Collaborate On A Limited Edition Release

LOWSCAREY_covers3Two great talents of the American northern midwest — Jagjaguwar‘s own S. Carey and the indelible post-rock colossus Low — have traded unfinished songs for a wonderful new Sub Pop 10″ available exclusively on Record Store Day. The song-swap is the brainchild of producer BJ Burton, who worked with the two artists in completing the other’s unfinished work. On the release, S. Carey (also drummer, supporting vocalist and collaborator in Bon Iver) completes the Low song “Not a Word,” while Low completed S. Carey’s “I Won’t Let You Fall.” The release marks not only a unique collaboration between the artists, but also Jagjaguwar and our friends at Sub Pop. This devastating 10″ is limited to only 4,000 copies worldwide and available at indie record shops on Record Store Day, April 16, 2016.
