Black Mountain Releases “Year Zero: Original Soundtrack,” Plus New Lia Ices 7″ Out Today

Black Mountain and Lia Ices bring you two awesome releases today! The first is the soundtrack to the epic surf film, Year Zero! Combining new works with previously released tracks, Black Mountain provides a hard-hitting, 45-minute acid tab of music. You can order the Year Zero: Original Soundtrack HERE. The latter is Lia Ices’ new 7-inch, featuring a beautiful cover of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” and a B-side of Syd Barrett’s “Late Night.” Buy it HERE. Black Mountain creates original soundtrack to movie? You heard right. It’s all for the post-apocalyptic film Year Zero and can be heard in its entirety come April 3rd. Including both old and new Black Mountain tracks, the soundtrack features nine songs, one of which you can download and stream below. The eight-minute long jam, “Mary Lou”, as Fader says it, “marks the return of Black Mountain.” Check out the Year Zero trailer above!
