New Music From Volcano Choir Crew- Tiny Creatures Featuring Justin Vernon on “An Iris”

All-Tiny-Creatures-PR-2010

What do Thomas Winceck and Kanye West have in common? They both recruited our man Justin Vernon on a recent track of theirs!

Wincek (Collections Of Colonies Of Bees, Volcano Choir) is leading the path for his new project, All Tiny Creatures.  You can catch the band’s first song, “An Iris”(Feat. Justin Vernon) over at Stereogum.  They also featured a mixtape with a handful of other tunes off their upcoming debut, Harbors.

How did you go about composing for the films?

Justin was gone so much of 2009 we decided it was best to have me take a crack at a film, just kind of feel it out.  So, it started this summer with me watching a bunch.  Nothing struck me right away.  Chaplin is nuts, but finally I settled on ONE AM.  I wrote some skeletal stuff for Justin and I to begin to work on.
