Wolf People Wax About Wax On Aquarium Drunkard

We stumbled upon this phrase that was written by some 16th century devotional writer named Samuel Hieron: “Well might they have their eares ticled with some pleasing noise.” And, we’re like, whoah, we think this puritan is talking about us, when we’re listening to Wolf People. As you can tell, we’re still ecstatic about working with the British rock quartet. (Their debut on Jagjaguwar called Tidings, a compilation of their singles, comes out on Feb. 22/23.)

It seems like, before our ears were tickled by Wolf People, Wolf People’s ears were tickled by many others. And Jack Sharp from the band talks about ten albums on the excellent Aquarium Drunkard blog that had some impact on them but that are probably not in your collection. It’s a must read (and listen):
