Richard Youngs Releases New ‘Rurtain’ 12″ via ALTER

Richard Youngs recently released a new electronic 12″ via London-based record label Alter. Titled Rurtain, the a-side features two long-form works. Neil Campbell (Astral Social Club), John Clyde-Evans and Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) lend their musical talents to the album’s b-side, each sharing their own remix on Richard’s originals. Check out the new video for Richard Youngs’ “Furrows Again” off of his latest release Amplifying Host. The video premiered this morning on Tiny Mix Tapes who gave Amplifying Host their coveted EUREKA tag and say “those who are willing to submerge themselves in less predictable experiences from a musician whose compositional practices are anything but routine will find much to enjoy here.” The new video was directed by Naomi Yang of Damon & Naomi.
