Spencer Krug‘s latest album as Moonface, Julia with Blue Jeans On is out next week and we’re excited to share that Pitchfork Advance is streaming the record in full here. In a review today from The 405, they write that the album “reflects both Krug’s realised ambitions in himself and see[s] the beauty in simplicity.”

Julia with Blue Jeans On will be released in the US on October 29th, and in Europe on October 28th. Pre-order it now from Amazon, iTunes, Secretly Canadian Distribution, your local record store, and available on Paper Bag Records in Canada.

Finally! S. Carey has shared new dates with us. Come May, S. Carey will play a handful of shows across his home state of Wisconsin, plus performances in Illinois and Iowa. See the full schedule below.

In addition to new dates, we also have a video for your viewing pleasure. S. Carey recently teamed up with a string quintet from Eau Claire to perform “Leave” for a new Acro Session; this particular arrangement was created by Sean’s former student, Davy Sumner.

BJ, Dan, and Joe, of Parts & Labor, have been laying low for sometime now. BJ has played a few shows as Shooting Spires while Dan has been out and about under the moniker of “Dan Friel”. In between those, all three of the guys have been writing new material as Parts & Labor and now they’re ready to unleash them on the world! Well, more specifically, DC, Philly, and Brooklyn.
