ON THE ROAD RECAP: Sharon Van Etten & Her Endless Tour

photo by Erik Jacobs at NPR

A week or two ago, Sharon Van Etten and her lovely band took the stage at Newport Folk Festival to a gentle, but enthusiastic roar from an eager audience. Kicking off the set with “All I Can,” Sharon delivers another wonderful performance. NPR writes, “Van Etten alternately exudes quiet confidence, sweet shyness and bold aggression, depending on a given song or moment, and never lets her audience’s attention lag.”

Listen and download the performance at NPR.

Sharon’s in the midst of a yearlong tour and as expected, the feedback has been nothing shy of incredible. Below we’ve included some live footage from her show at Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom, plus more links to photos and awesome reviews! Have fun digging in and then get out to see a live show yourself! Sharon & co. travel to San Francisco for two performances today – one at Outside Lands Music Festival at 1:15 PM and one at the Rickshaw Stop for an after show later Friday tonight.
