GAYNGS is currently sweeping the nation, one slow jam at a time!
First, the group did a Daytrotter session that includes a brilliant cover of Sade’s “By Your Side” as well as RELAYTED favorites “The Gaudy Side of Town,” “No Sweat” and “Crystal Rope.”
Daytrotter founder Sean Moeller subsequently captured the essence of GAYNGS during their sesh:
These 10 men, occasionally 23 people, often somewhere in between, are beholden to nothing but their inner boombox and what seems to be pumping on them are the sounds of Hall & Oates, the Bee Gees, Bread, Eric B & Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest, The Doobie Brothers and Sade.

Then they turned it up to 11 on last night’s performance of “Gaudy” on Jimmy Fallon. Click here to watch the full episode.
Check out some choice shots from last night and remaining GAYNGS fall dates, after the jump.
