Independent Label Market in Brooklyn this Saturday

If you are in NY this weekend, join us at the Independent Label Market, part of the Brooklyn Flea‘s 4th annual record fair. Jagjaguwar will be selling our wares at a booth with sister labels Dead Oceans and Secretly Canadian. We’ll be in the esteemed company of many other amazing independent labels including Domino, XL, Fool’s Gold, 4AD, Mexican Summer, True Panther, Angular, Kanine, Minimal Wave, DFA, Sacred Bones, Young Turks, Throne of Blood, Captured Tracks, What’s Your Rupture?, Wierd, and Terrible. Think of Independent Label Market as our take on a farmer’s market. This is an opportunity for fans to interact with and buy records directly from the label owners themselves. The ILM debuted as a rousing success in London this May. This Saturday’s market in Brooklyn is the first ILM event in the US, and hopefully one of many such events in the future.
