ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT // The Cave Singers Set to Release ‘Naomi’ in March 2013, First Track Available for Streaming
Posted: December 4th, 2012 by katieNext year continues to get better and better! The Cave Singers announce their fourth full-length, Naomi, set for release on March 5, 2013. Naomi came to be over a span of ten months and the boys headed into the studio to lay down the tracks in one, with Seattle producer Phil Ek adding the final touches. The core trio of Pete, Derek and Marty is joined by long time friend Morgan Henderson, who you’ll recognize from Blood Brothers and Fleet Foxes.
It’s an album full of love and suffering, surrender and redemption: the messy stuff of life. When premiering the first single this morning,KEXP writes “The ‘Singers have never had such swagger!” Stream “Have to Pretend” above!
