Peter Wolf Crier announce US tour

Peter Wolf Crier

Peter Wolf Crier have just announced their first headlining tour of the US this Fall! Following the release of their album, Garden of Arms, on September 6 (Sept 5 UK) the band will sally forth and bring their rocking live show to clubs coast to coast. They kick off the whole shebang with a record release party in their hometown of Minneapolis at the Cedar Cultural Center on September 23. Quirky popsters Milagres will join PWC for a leg of the tour. A full list of dates can be found after the jump.

In the meantime if you want to whet your appetite for what’s to come, you can download the first track off Garden of Arms, “Right Away,” right here. As the first offering from the new album, “Right Away” has already been shown much love from the blogosphere. Paste Magazine called out its “samples, organs and vibraphones” combining “for a bigger indie rock sound.” My Old Kentucky Blog said the track demonstrates “a rich melodic soundscape – layered with harmonies and perfectly-timed percussive elements,” and Austin Town Hall was “drawn in” by “its creative and unique take on drums and quirky rhythms.” Ultimately, “Right Away” is just one example of how Garden of Arms pulls inspiration from PWC’s rollicking live show. Be sure not to miss them on tour!

Peter Wolf Crier Heatin’ Up The Greenhouse

Peter Wolf Crier knows that sometimes you gotta get creative growing crops in the northern climes of Duluth, MN. The band goes green for their North Shore Session, playing for the plant crowd and heating up a green house with “Untitled 101.” Sounds like it’ll be a good crop in Duluth this year!
