While on tour in Amsterdam last week, Unknown Mortal Orchestra stopped by the DWDD talkshow. The band performed “Opposite of Afternoon” for the live audience. Check out Ruban with an acoustic guitar – something we’ve really only seen him do for sit-down sessions. Cool! Watch above. Head HERE to stream the band playing “Swim and Sleep (Like A Shark).”
Good afternoon fine folks of the interwebs. Last night, Unknown Mortal Orchestra made their late night television debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Our leather daddies wasted no time in getting right down to business. Playing II’s “So Good At Being In Trouble,” UMO destroyed the stage with their performance, and Ruban even threw in a golden god guitar solo at the end. ENJOY ABOVE.
If you like what you see, be sure to catch NPR Music’s live stream of UMO and Foxygen’s gig tomorrow night at Rock & Roll Hotel. Show starts at 9:00 PM ET. Details details details. Lastly, we will wrap this note up by reminding you to check out all the upcoming tour dates!
To make today even sweeter, UMO share their new video (the first to accompany the record) for “So Good At Being In Trouble.” You should recognize a couple of familiar faces in the video (hint hint: McLovin). Enjoy the video, directed by Danny Perez, above!
You will want to experience these songs in person. UMO is headed out on tour in support of II. Joining the guys are Foxygen and Wampire. See the full list of shows and ticket links HERE.
