Steve McBean’s Pink Mountaintops will be traveling across Europe this November as a duo – he’ll be joined by American musician Gregg Foreman (Cat Power, Delta 72).

If you didn’t catch this earlier it’s worth mentioning again – Pink Mountaintops perform as “Metal Problem” in the new movie Everything Louder Than Everything Else and play a new song that totally rules called “Through All the Worry.”

Black Mountain’s Steve McBean Appears in New Film – Watch the Trailer

EVERYTHING LOUDER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE TRAILER from Obsolete Films on Vimeo.

A new indie film, a comedy called EVERYTHING LOUDER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE, by Rob Leickner from Obsolete Films debuted at the Whistler Film Festival, and the film features Black Mountain’s own Stephen McBean. I’m really excited about seeing this movie because 1) Vancouver music is awesome 2) the movie is about a woman in the music industry 3) MCBEANNNN! He appears in the above trailer.

A really good interview with Rob and Nardnarduwar the Human Serviette, expounds upon the film, the Hive Studio, how far along in the film the word “fuck” is introduced and various indie rock jargon.  Listen here.
