WATCH // Pink Mountaintops Shares “Shakedown” Video Dir. By Simon Chan ft. J. Mascis, Plays FYF Fest This Weekend, EU Dates Start 8/28

A few days in front of their appearance at FYF Fest, Pink Mountaintops have shared a new video for “Shakedown“, off of their latest LP Get Back. Premiering via Stereogum this morning, the video stars Mandy-Lyn Antoniou and dives into a world fueled by headphone sounds, video games and mixed drinks, all the while featuring a cameo by the legendary J. Mascis. ‘Shakedown’ also marks a reunion between Stephen McBean and director Simon Chan, who previously worked together on Black Mountain’s “Hair Song”. For those of you across the pond, be sure to catch the band on their upcoming upcoming European tour. Watch the video above or on Scry Pictures YouTube page here.

Get Back is available now via iTunes, SC Distribution, Amazon, and your local record store.

Sunday couldn’t have been better for Bon Iver’s Bonnaroo performance. The overcast skies and light mist created the perfect atmosphere for the show, which thousands of people came out to see. For those who weren’t able to make it to festival this year (and those who want to relive the experience), here’s your chance to capture the live show. In this video, Bon Iver perform a stellar version of “Blood Bank” from the What Stage.

Multiple Jagjaguwar Artists Featured on Kathleen Edwards’ Upcoming Album, Voyageur

Kathleen Edwards album Voyageur, the much anticipated follow-up to 2008′s Asking for Flowers, is set for release January 17. In addition to the fact that the album is being co-produced by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, we were thrilled to find out that a number of our other artists are appearing on it as well.

Listeners can look forward to musical stylings from Sean Carey (S. Carey, Bon Iver), Brian Moen (Peter Wolf Crier) and Vernon, who also contributed backing vocals, guitar, piano, organ, bass, banjo and xylophone.
