Bon Iver – Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

The touring band for Bon Iver will be 9 members strong and include some of the best humans walking the earth. They are still putting the finishing touches on the live versions of the new Bon Iver, Bon Iver material, so Late Night With Jimmy Fallon offered to have Justin come on and perform the b-side to the “Calgary” 12″ – Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” with a dash of “Nick of Time.” Justin had a sweet couch interview with Jimmy and performed a little medley with Phil Cook on piano.
The interview video doesn’t show this, but it’s pretty awesome – as Justin walked out for his interview, and the Roots played the theme song from Northern Exposure. For all the Bon Iver n00bs – the name originates from an episode of Northern Exposure (one of Justin’s favorite shows).
