Watch Killer Besnard Lakes Live Footage, Tour Dates in Australia

The Besnard Lakes | FOR NO ONE on Vimeo.

The Besnard Lakes have had an outstanding run since the March 2010 release of The Besnard Lakes Are The Roaring Night. It’s almost been a year and they continue to bring new meaning to the brilliance of a fog machine and real stage presence.

Preceding their January performance at Chicago’s Tomorrow Never Knows Festival, Besnards played a whirling rendition of album standout “And This Is What We Call Progress.” Watch it over at Pitchfork.TV or in the video above.

If you’re in Australia or Hong Kong, peep these Besnards tour dates below!

“Sometimes I solo a lot” – Guitar tips from The Besnard Lakes

I don’t know how to play guitar, so this is like ICP-esque Miracles stuff to me, but for those of you who do and who also were wondering how to play “Albatross,” Rich and Jace from The Besnard Lakes star in this handy video.

New Video for “Albatross” by The Besnard Lakes

This morning Pitchfork TV premiered the new video from The Besnard Lakes, “Albatross.” The video was directed by Kara Blake for Les Productions La Guerilla.  “Albatross” features a fantastic visual interpretation of the spies who inhabit The Besnard Lakes Are the Roaring Night – a very glamorous man and woman both exploring the city and using clues they find in code over the short wave radio.
