ALBUM ANNOUNCE // Sharon Van Etten’s New Album ‘Are We There’ Out May 27th, Shares Summer Tour Dates

Last week we shared the above album teaser trailer, and now we are happy to share more details from Sharon Van Etten’s new album Are We There out May 27th, 2014.

Following up from her 2012 album Tramp, Sharon shares an album not only fully-formed and extravagant in sound but also completely self-produced. Her writing also continues to explore personal experience drawing from feelings of emptiness, loss, fear of change, desire, waiting, and self-healing. After collaborating on Boardwalk Empire, Sharon found a kindred spirit in Stewart Lerman, so she recorded Are We There in his studio in her home state of New Jersey.

Pre-order Sharon’s new album via SC Distribution for a limited bundle including special edition clear vinyl in litho-wrap gatefold jacket and CD in 6 panel cardboard wallet, Taking Chances b/w Taking Chances (demo) limited edition 7″, a signed 5×7″ print of album cover photo by Sharon, and a 17×22″ poster. The album is also available on Amazon, iTunes, and your local record store.
