Oneida and Parts & Labor help launch the Emergencynth
Posted: August 31st, 2011 by AbeMeet the Emergencynth a new boutique, limted edition synthesizer and sequencer that will be released tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 1). The device is designed and hand-assembled by Karl LaRocca AKA Kayrock. Members of both Oneida and Parts & Labor contributed to this project. The Emergencynth is limited to 350 copies available either at Main Drag Music in Brooklyn, or through the Emergencynth website HERE. More details:
“It has 8 oscillators which can be tuned in unison, spread out over a range of many octaves, or set to various preset harmonies. The oscillators can be set to one of 8 different waveforms: sin, two triangles, two saws, and three square waves. Switches control pitch sweep and 4 amplitude envelopes.
The 32 step sequencer has programmable memory for 8 patterns. It comes with preset patterns written by members of Oneida, Trans Am, Parts & Labor, and Roxy Pain, but you can save over them with your own creations.”
