Small Black Set To Release New Chain October 26

JAG174

The long wait is over. Small Black will release their debut full-length album New Chain on October 26 in the U.S. and October 25 in the U.K. Richly colored and thickly layered, New Chain is an absorbing, eclectic and obsessive body of work. Here Small Black have succeeded in melting together locked and popped drum-shudder, gauzy spirographic synths and subtly contagious, half-remembered melody into ebullient bursts of evocative, subliminal and thoroughly modern pop. New Chain casts a dream-like spell, entrancing, subduing, and consuming you in the most gorgeous washes of electro-pop since M83 released their immaculate Saturdays= Youth. And while this album has one foot in the land of dreams, it has the other squarely on the dance floor as “Search Party,” “Photojournalist,” and the title track are filled with rhythmic bounce and groove. Check out the album artwork above and the track listing below and stay tuned for more info, music, tour dates, and more in the very near future.
