Small Black Give First Details of Recording Their New Record

smallblack12

Last year Small Black released their debut self-titled EP that became a web sensation. Particularly the song “Despicable Dogs” became a golden gem in the pantheon of electro-pop, helped by a truly exceptional music video. Small Black toured the world before settling back to their east coast environs to begin the recording of their new album. The band escaped the hustle and bustle of their Brooklyn homes in favor of the sleepy suburbs of Delaware and proceeded to dive deep into the studio. Stereogum reports on the recording sessions today in the latest installment of their ongoing “Progress Report” series. You can get all the details on what Small Black have been up to and a few hints at the details of their first full-length album right HERE. Stay tuned for more news on the new album in the weeks to come.
