From My Cold, Dead Hands: Defending The Fog Machine

We have a response to a special person who handed this to us at the Besnard Lakes show at the Bishop in Bloomington last night: U MAD

FOGMACHINE

Admittedly, I am invested on this topic of whether the fog machine is cool or not. Because I spent an afternoon hustling around Austin at SXSW to procure a fog machine for Besnard Lakes purposes from Rock and Roll Rentals.  I carried it many blocks full of stumbling, booze-soaked hipsters, and it was WORTH IT.

We always appreciate feedback, but it’s one of our many favorite things about the band. We don’t ever want them to stop.

The Besnard Lakes put on a WONDERFUL show here last night that ruled so much that Eric Harvey kept screaming “THIS IS SO FUCKING GREAT” in my ear over and over.  Thank you, Besnards!  Keep on rocking in the free world and doot doola doot doo…
