Yes, that’s Oneida in someone’s kitchen- but it’s not pots & pans upon which they are drumming. The band recently played a kitchen concert in a rural western Massachusetts home and luckily Impose Magazine was there to capture the whole thing in a photo essay. See the full photo essay HERE.
Coincidentally, yesterday saw the release of People of the North’s Deep Tissue LP. Featuring Onedia’s Kid Millions and Bobby Matador, Deep Tissue is available as a vinyl release from Jagjaguwar’s Brah Records. You can listen to album cut “Tunnels” HERE, and read more about People of the North or purchase Deep Tissue HERE.
In other Oneida news, next month Kid Millions will appear as part of an all-star drummer lineup in the Boredoms’ Boadrum. With a special 9 drummer lineup featuring Eye, Yoshimi, Yo2ro, Hisham Bharoocha (Soft Circle/ex-Black Dice), Zach Hill (Hella), Butchy Fuego (Pit Er Pat), Jeremy Hyman (Ponytail), Kid and DMBQ, Boadrum will appear at All Tomorrow’s Parties in Minehead and then go on to London and Japan.
