Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Annie Clark of St. Vincent Perform Together at Benefit for Haiti
Posted: January 25th, 2010 by LucyJagjaguwar messed up, you guys.

Brooklyn Vegan put together one hell of a benefit to help the earthquake victims in Haiti, and we probably should have hopped on a plane right as soon as we heard about it and high-tailed it over to the Music Hall of Williamsburg. We didn’t, and here is what we missed:
Justin Vernon, St. Vincent, Brad Cook (Megafaun) and Jon Mueller (Collections of Colonies of Bees and Volcano Choir) all on stage PLAYING SONGS TOGETHER. I would pay good money to Vulcan mind-meld with someone who was there. Luckily, there are people who go to concerts and take illegal videos for youtube. I’m still sorting through my favorite ones, so please hit us up with any photos or videos to share. Were you there? Bonus goes to anyone who got a pic of Justin and Janeane Garafolo – that shit is going on the fridge.
The newly formed supergroup of Vernon-Clark-Cook-Mueller has been named as well. Behold! SONGER SINGERWRITER performing “Jolene”

and “Harvest Moon”

Justin played the Bon Iver song “Flume” and was assisted by Brad on the Macintosh computer.

Excellent work by our excellent friends. In the words of the great Antony Hegarty, I’m “totally jeally.”
