As the ear plug factories of the world are working double-time in preparation for the eruption of sound that will happen on June 23 when DINOSAUR JR.’S latest album Farm is released on Jagjaguwar, the band has offered a new single, “I Want You To Know,” for purchase on Itunes. The track was recently given a coveted “Best New Track” tag by Pitchfork, in which the reviewer said of the song: ” Whatever Mascis is going on about underneath this cocksure mess is secondary. The confidence these guys exude sounds so fantastic, it’s almost a shame when the solo begins. In this song, the group’s got nothing to apologize for.”
