OKKERVIL RIVER Aim To Make Tour Carbon Neutral

OKKERVIL RIVER will be heading out on the road soon for quite a haul in support of their newest release, The Stand Ins. In an effort to make this tour as environmentally friendly as possible, the band is encouraging fans to ride bikes, carpool, or take public transit to the shows.
To help get the word out they’ve teamed up with local bike advocacy groups, to organize group rides to their shows, as well as PickupPal, a site that allows fans to contact each other to organize carpools.
