BLACK MOUNTAIN Release New Video Of “Wucan”, Announce North American Tour Dates

From BLACK MOUNTAIN’s second full-length album “In The Future” (which was just recently short-listed for Canada’s prestigious Polaris Prize), the song “Wucan” is now in video form, featuring footage of all five members of the modern heavy psych outfit performing in the desert. Largely filmed by the band itself, and then put together with the assistance of Shira Blustein and Jon West, this video conjures up both a haunted and an expansive vibe. Check it out:

In addition to a handful of European festival dates (Green Man, Pukkelpop and the Lowlands Festival), Black Mountain will also be performing throughout North America in August and September. Highlights include being a part of the NEW PORNOGRAPHER’s Stanley Park Singing Exhibition, performing at the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival and the Pygmalion Music Festival, and touring a string of dates (including two in New York City) with JESSE SYKES & THE SWEET HEREAFTER. Also, Black Mountain will make their maiden voyage to South America, and will perform two dates in Brazil, one as part of the Goiania Noise Festival on November 22.
