JULIE DOIRON touring US with Calvin Johnson

Jagjaguwar artist Julie Doiron joins K Records founder Calvin Johnson (ex-Beat Happening, Halo Benders, Dub Narcotic Soundsystem) on a tour playing intimate venues, galleries, churches and art collectives during the month of June. This tour is supporting Doiron’s January release, “Woke Myself Up”, an album detailing the great highs and terrible lows of familial beauty, intimacy and turmoil. Doiron presents a cathartic performance of this heart-wrenching record. The legendary Calvin Johnson is, of course, not to be missed.
