PARTS & LABOR tour U.S. with ADULT.

Since the release of “Stay Afraid”, their first full-length on Jagjaguwar/Brah in April, 2006, Parts & Labor has made life imitate musical art: frenetic, fast-paced and ferocious. In less than a year P&L has completed three North American tours, two European tours, an instrumental EP (“Escapers 1″, released by Broklyn Beats), a contribution to a 6-volume cassette tribute to Oneida’s “Sheets of Easter” (“Sheets of Easter Everywhere”, released by Furniture Records), AND a new full-length record, “Mapmaker”, due out on Jagjaguwar/Brah on May 22. Expect new things from Parts & Labor’s new record as they take their aural assault and channel it with melody into a tight and twisting tempest that will rip your previous state of sonic reckoning to shreds.

Before pummelling the public with this newly recorded epic, Brooklyn’s hardest-hammering trio will besiege concert-goers in Canada and the U.S. as part of the upcoming ADULT. tour. You’ve got a month to stock up on ear protection.
