JULIE DOIRON Video For “No More” Available
Posted: January 29th, 2007 by LegacyJulie Doiron’s new album, “Woke Myself Up”, hit the streets this week. It’s a raw, straight-to-the point collection that finds the singer reuniting with her old bandmates from Eric’s Trip for their first recordings in over 10 years. The Onion’s AV Club says, “Those with a taste for the unadorned, pretty, and emotionally striking… couldn’t do much better.”
“No More” is the second video from “Woke Myself Up.” While the first, “Me And My Friend”, was a sweet, low-key affair, “No More” represents a sleeker side of Ms. Doiron. While Julie is the focal point, the concept of loss and ending is evoked by a variety of people lip-syncing the song. With red, gold and brown being the dominant colours, the effect is that of the sepia tone of old movies and photographs.
