It’s been a little over two years, or 1,051,200 minutes, or roughly 61,835 back-to-back “Bright Lights” since the release of “In The Future”. All of the Black Mountaineers have been staying busy, though.
There might be some pre-conceived notions about what constitutes water cooler conversation at an indie label, but I have to tell you that it’s basically the same old shit. There’s enough fantasy baseball and fantasy football to keep my eyes rolling for most of the year, but I am happy to report that the majority of my co-workers love all the same television programming that I do.
LIGHTNING DUST’s Tiny Desk Concert surfaced this week on NPR.org, with a performance at host Bob Boilen’s desk that featured album tracks “Antonia Jane,” “History,” and “I Knew.” Watch the Tiny Desk Concert below or read the full entry at NPR.org HERE.
